Our cognitive testing services are aimed at evaluating cognitive functions, identifying neurological impairments, and providing valuable insights for targeted interventions. Information collected about clients during the assessment can be used to access services through the NDIS or adjustments to environments such as employment and educational institutions to support clients participation in activities on the same basis as their peers.

The Assessment Process
We follow a structured, evidence-based assessment process to ensure accuracy, transparency, and ethical practice.
1. Initial Enquiry
We gather basic information to determine whether the assessment is appropriate for your needs. This step is not therapy and does not include clinical advice.
4. Scoring & Interpretation
All results are scored using validated scoring systems. Interpretation is based on multiple data sources and does not rely on any single test result.
2. Intake Session
A psychologist completes a structured interview to understand your background, concerns, and goals for assessment.
5. Feedback Session
Your psychologist provides a clear explanation of assessment findings, limitations, and recommendations. This session is scheduled once fees have been paid in full. This session is educational and does not constitute therapy.
3. Formal Testing
Standardised assessment tools are selected based on your referral question. Tests may include cognitive, behavioural, developmental, or diagnostic measures. Only evidence-based tools appropriate for Australia are used.
6. Written Report
You will receive a written report that includes findings, recommendations, and any relevant next steps. Reports are delivered within the time frame discussed during intake.
